Attraqt announces the winners of its inaugural Freddie +me Awards at its 2019 Customer Conference. ASOS, Oka, De Bijenkorf and Forever New scoop the prizes.
Attraqt are delighted to announce the winners of its inaugural Freddie + me Awards. ASOS, Oka, De Bijenkorf and Forever New won the prizes on Thursday 9th May at Attraqt’s Annual Customer Conference, held in central London at the South Bank (Autograph Collection) Hotel.
The Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the exceptional work that Attraqt customers have achieved in their use of Attraqt’s core technology product, the Fredhopper Discovery Platform.
4 Awards were up for grabs to reflect the ground-breaking work that Attraqt customers have produced as part of their on-going efforts to create exceptional ecommerce shopping experiences using Attraqt’s technology. The Awards were designed around Attraqt’s key company values (Pioneering, Data-Led & Better, Together) to encapsulate innovation, data-driven expertise and collaboration; key principles that define both Attraqt’s market-focused product offering and our relationship with our customers.
Winners were awarded based on the positive business results they have driven through the application of the Fredhopper Discovery Platform over the course of 2018 /2019, and award entrants were reviewed by Attraqt’s panel of in-house experts, who selected each winner from a curated list of eminent retail nominees. The quality of entries was superb, with representation from a diverse range of Attraqt customers spanning a range of industry sectors including luxury homewares, fast fashion and accessories. But 4 winners stood out for their ability to drive outstanding value to both their customers and their overall retail results. An additional award was also created to recognise a much-valued Attraqt customer who has continually impressed the business thanks to its perpetual innovation and collaborative spirit.
Better, Together Award:
Nominees: Jojo Mamam Bébé, The White Company, ASOS
This award is designed to celebrate the most strategic blend of smart automation and creative ingenuity in visual merchandising.
ASOS was awarded the prize for the team’s ability to demonstrate its creative and integrated use of the platform across its merchandising teams and the wider business in order to boost and augment key KPIs for the ASOS brand.
Nominees: Silkfred, Forever New, ASOS
Winner: Forever New
This award is designed to celebrate the innovative use of the Fredhopper Discovery Platform. Australian fast-fashion retailer Forever New was awarded the prize for its ability to use a single product feature of the Fredhopper Discovery Platform for maximum impact across its business. The brand applied Attraqt’s visual recommendations solution to a variety of different use cases to generate impressive conversion results.
Nominees: Debenhams, Hotter Shoes, Oka
This award recognises customers who are able to show how an intelligent application of data and analytics has driven great results for their teams and customers. The prize was awarded to luxury homewares retailer Oka who were able to create and validate a sound merchandising hypothesis based on smart data insights from the Fredhopper Discovery Platform.
Shopper Experience Award:
Nominees: Forever New, De Bijenkorf, ASOS
Winner: De Bijenkorf
The best Shopper Experience award is given to the retailer who can demonstrate how their strategies have made a real difference to how their shoppers have been engaging with their sites. Dutch fashion and homewares retailer De Bijenkorf stood out for demonstrating a winning combination of using the Fredhopper Discovery Platform’s ranking cocktails with their own data feeds to deliver an innovative and personalised on-site customer experience.
Lifetime Achievement Award:
A special recognition award was also created to recognise how ASOS has become an integral part of the Attraqt family over the years. ASOS won this specific prize for the team’s candid and open collaboration with Attraqt’s team of experts, which has not only helped to deliver exceptional results for the ASOS brand, but has also helped to shape and define Attraqt’s unique product offering.

The Freddie + me Awards were launched as part of Attraqt’s 2019 Annual Customer Conference in May 2019. The Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the creative and innovative use of Attraqt’s core technology product, the Fredhopper Discovery Platform. Award entries are open to all Attraqt customers and are judged based on category-related criteria by Attraqt’s in-house ecommerce experts.
